  • Ounces of Chicken Breast

How many ounces of chicken breast do you all usually eat per meal?

    I honestly think 5 o/z is whats really best.....5o/z 229 calories...fat 5.....carbs 0....protein 43 orrr......

    6o/z 275 cals....fat 6...carbs 0....protein 52..

But I've been told that your body doesn't really need more then 50 grams of protein per meal cause you'll just poop it ou:D

5-8 oz depending on how big you are & if you are on a cycle & how many meals you eat a day. Excess protein is converted to glycogen and used as a carb energy, not pooped out. If you don't use the excess energy, it is then stored as fat.

I would rater have excess protein in my body, than not enough. If you don't have enough to repair muscle tissue after a workout, you don't rebuild and your hard efforts in the gym go to waste.

Okay, wait, now I'm confused. I thought it was something like 123 cal/20.6g prot/4.5g fat per 3 oz. cooked chicken...These numbers are way different aren't they?

I grill a bunch of chicken breasts and eat until I'm full, along with tomatoes, brown rice and brocolli. I don't know how much, but it's a least 2 whole breasts. By the way, I don't know if that's your wife or GF on your Avatar, but that's the best looking butt I've ever seen, and I've seen many. If she's yours, congrats. BB

The thing is I kow a lot of people who will eat like a huge chicken breast and drink a shit load of protein shakes...I know that you should take atleast 1.5 if not more of protein per bodyweight....So as long as you meet your daily recuriement its ok...Also another question...How much protein should be taken per meal or does it really matter if you go over a certain amount?

When you talk about the ounces of chicken are we talking cooked or uncooked?

And to answer your question Animal D, I think its mor a question of keeping it all equal for each meal, so take as much protein you want to have in a day, and divide it by the number of times you eat. Correct me if I'm wrong.
