Ditto. Now I buy the albacore pouches. More expensive, but tastes a lot better. Still, if i eat it more than once a week, I wanna hurl.

Either. it's kinda like fish fillet consistency, not all food-processor chopped and watered down. you can eat it in a sandwich or thow it over a salad or make tuna salad. tons better than canned.

I have actually been trying to stay away from tuna. Most store bought brands, especially albacore have high mercury levels in it. Not to mention, due to the packaging "so called water" they loose most of their essential nutrients that we mainly eat fish for, such as omega-3-FAs. There is this one company called St. Jude that is caught and packaged in a different manner. Compared to brands like Starkist it had 1.6 grams of Omega-3s compared to .5 of Starkist. It is packaged in its own juices and is virtually mercury free. I am planning on giving this stuff a try.

As for preperation, spice up your recipes a lil. Throw in some spicy mustard in your tuna salad, toast the bread, ass dif stuff. There are millions of variations to eat you tuna. HTH

Put like a tablespoon of italian dressing on top of it in the can. It masks the taste really well, but sounds nasty:rofl:
