  • trying to think of a good bulking diet

I have been trying to put together a good diet for bulking. I weigh about 175, i'm about 5'11" and body fat isn't really an issue right now, I'm at like 17% I think, and I've been eating as much as I can anyhow. I'm open to any suggestions. Does anyone know of any websites with diet info or of different diets that I can look at to put one together of my own? Also I want to make sure I put the right kinds of carbs and proteins in the right parts of the day. Once school is out I'm going to be lifting at 3:00 I think, although I might go to morning, depending on how I decide to do things. Right now my diet is just too unstructured to be consistent. I take ON 100% whey, and I have some ISS weightgainer that I've got most of the tub left, although I'll probably finish out this one and be done because it's too expensive when I can just spread out the same amount of nutrients anyway, if I can plan well. Any help is appreciated, I'm kinda new here and I'm trying to get bigger for football and also for my own benifit, and I'm also interested in bodybuilding also so it all fits, you guys know your stuff.

Take in 300g of protein a day....alternating servings of meat (beef, chicken, turkey, pork, lamb) with whey shakes. Make sure you're taking in protein every 2 hours, with some carbs and fats. If you're doing that, you're definately going to be taking in enough calories...and will be maintaining a positive nitrogen balance all day long. Not real specific...doesn't need to be when bulking. Just follow those guidelines and you'll grow.

300 grams is excessive for his body weight...he won't utilize it all...I say stick to around 220 or so and up the good carbs and good fats, and try to keep it all relatively clean so he won't put on a bunch of ugly fat in the process. Plus, he won't have so much to have to cut when he has enough size and wants to start cutting.

Exactly what I was ggoing to say. You eat a lot of shit thats what your body is going to look like you ate- a lot of shit. Make sure you drink plenty of water. Oh and Ive read that ginger root calms your stomach and helps your body absorb what you eat. I take about 3-4 caps daily with my meals. It really helps when you eat so much you feel like your going to burst. :D
