I was just playing around with my food to change something up so I thought I would cut up some chicken tenders and throw them in a pan. I wanted a complex carb with this meal so I threw some dry oatmeal in with the cut up tenders and cooked it together. Added in a touch of water to moisten up the oats. Added pepper and some balsamic vinegar for flavor. Came out pretty good. Kinda like caserole without the cheese. If your sick of plain chicken and oats give this a try, it came out pretty good.

I would love to eat fried food.
Fried, no, in a non-stick frying pan maybe with a little pam, yes. If you're using a non-stick pan, you usually don't even need pam, a little water will help keep most foods from sticking.

So I can fry a chicken breast in a pan with pam, and that is considered sauteeing, and not a fried food?
I thought pam was spray oil....
Sorry man, im just really confused here. I bake my food in the oven, but that gets old.

To fry something it needs to be kind of immensed in the oil. You won't be doing that with pam. Just using a couple sprays so it's considered more sauteeing. Considering the 1g of fat per spray of pam compared to the 13.6g of fat per tbsp of corn oil, I think you can see the difference.Originally posted by Golden_Muscle

Bro, you have alot of learning to do. lol. The pam is so the food dosent stick to the pan. Water will not cook the meat the same. This stuff is basic knowledge bro. You have been on these boards long enough, you should know this stuff.Originally posted by Golden_Muscle

I still need to learn alot though. You should see the crappy tasting shit I eat all the time. I hate food most of the time.
I thought even a little bit of oil (pam) was bad, since it is still frying food...
So it is safe to use pam with say, 3 meals a day?
Please let me know Bouncer.

go take a cooking class. you need to watch like Food Network or something. learn the basics of cooking.
you need a little bit of oil in your diet anyway - so a little pam (which will probably give you about 1g fat per meal if that) won't kill you.
if you're sick of baking food, you can boil it, grill it, stir fry it, you can do A LOT with food which isn't unhealthy.
FRYING - like puddles said - means putting the food in a vat of boiling oil.
haven't you ever had fried chicken before?????
