Hey guys was hungry and was also feeling very inventive at the time so here it goes. Putting this down with out alot of measurements because I was experimenting and I didnt exactly measure. But no worries you can flavor to taste.
Canned chicken or tuna (didn't try it with tuna but can imagine it's great since it's so versitile).
2-3 egg whites.
1tb of diced onions.
A Handful of choped or sliced mushrooms (bought mine presliced in a carton from local store).
1/2 tsp of Garlic powder.
Some shakes of Black Pepper.
Chili powder or a dash of tobasco sauce (optional depending on your likes to spiceyness)
Ice Cube or A glass of water at your side. (Ice cube works best and is easier as not to flood the dish).
B4 anything get your egg whites prepared in a bowl and ready to be poured in. Also you will need to have your can of chicken or tuna drained and forked up. you kno so its not all solid pieces of meat. Grind it up a bit. Using a food processor which is easy but more to clean up. Just use a fork. Ok Basically I took an onion and diced it up. As I always have diced onion in my refridge cause you can use it with alot of things. Anyways I took a heaping table spoon of that and plopped it in a frying pan coated with non stick spray or canola oil It's your choice... I used canola oil. Use a Medium high flame. Then put the ice cube or add a table spoon of water every so often to the dish when it dries up. This is to sweat the onion to make its true flavor come out. after a min of this add the mushrooms. Id say keep adding some water to the concoction for another min or 2 Add in your garlic powder and black pepper. This is the time to add your eggwhites. While they are cooking takes about a min id say. This is the time to add your chicken or tuna. Mix it all up stiring for about 30 secs on low flame once you add the chicken assuming ur eggs are cooked this is to obviously give the tuna / chicken some heat. Turn the flame off and serve. Clean up is a sinch too what did we use a fork a bowl and a pan hah!.
Wahla! Dinner or lunch is served. unless you'd eat it for breakfast which is cool too. Also If you wanted to add some carbs. You can by adding in some dry oatmeal im guessing to add it while your cooking the onions and mushrooms... Hope you guys like it I know i did. Give me some feed back on the tuna and oatmeal aspect. I wanna know how that comes out only tried the chicken.
I also didnt add nutritional info. But on my can of chicken its 2.5 serving size of 50 cals 9 protein 0 carbs per serving of th can. Assuming you use the whole can its 125 cals 22protein 0 carbs.
Not even gonna bother including the onion info or the seasoning for that matter. Chili powder onions and garlic powder are not fattening but do hold some sodium content not enuff to worry about though. Egg's According to this website I have http://www.ntwrks.com/~mikev/chart1a.htm 15 cals and 4g of protein per egg. So together this dish is 170 cal's 34 g's of protein 0 carbs. With tuna it would be about 220 cals with 49 grams of protein and according to both my cans of chicken and tuna 2.5 grams of fat for the whole meal. IF adding oatmeal you prolly wouldnt want to add a whole serving to it. Bout 1/2 of a regular serving which would be which can add 14 carbs to the meal. This is good for someone watching there weight and also is a pretty good protein meal if used with tuna. Adds some real cool variety to the chicken / tuna world.
