  • muscle gain

How often do you see the numbers on the scale go up as ur lifting. I would hate to think im not gaining musclle and instead gaining weight and diet even more and burn the muscle off. I dont have a BF scale or havent even got my BF checked out so theres no way to tell if its pounds or muscle unless i get that checked huh?

I don't worry too much about the scale, just the way my clothes fit! But you can definately get your bodyfat checked too, but sometimes you can get someone who doesn't give too accurate a reading. It's all about consistency

Like irishgirl said, scales mean nothing. Go by how you look in the mirror. Measure yourself once a month. That way you can tell if your waist is getting smaller and so on.
