  • what can i eat at college??

Below are my options. My mealplan gives me 3 meals a day, but i have class during the entire duration of breakfast, so i can only get 2 meals a day.

    carbs
white bread (buns, rolls, pizza, etc)
white rice (covered in sugary stirfry sauce)
pasta (pretty nasty though, kinda overcooked)
    powdered white mashed potatoes
    french fries
the batter that some fried stuff has on it - does this even count??
    lettuce
    uncooked +half frozen brocolli

    protein
cheese (from pizza, occassion rigotta from pasta)
    eggs
fish (dry as a bone though, and i eat tuna outta the can- much worse then that even!)
chicken - whole little mini chickens with almost no meat
chicken - nugget type things, not solid meat, not all white meat
    chicken - buffalo wings
steak - about 50% lean, worst cut ive even seen, tastes like ass
pork/turkey/etc - i dont eat these meats, but if i did, these are the driest, worst cuts ive ever seen
    hamburgers - mcdonalds quality beef
    lunchmeat

    fats
only saturated fats (see above shitty meat cuts)
    some saliddressings have soybean oil

Eating at college is hard and the selection is aways crappy. Last year, one of my meals (usually breakfast) consisted of eating ramen and/or easy mac

why dont u try cooking for the week??? Its inexpensive and so easy. Boil about 3 cups Dry brown rice. Store in refridge. Get 2-3 bags of frozen veggies. Soy sauce or some stirfry sauce. Try getting lite and low sodium and dont over do it. Microwave both of em then throw em in a pan with some of the soy or stirfry for a min or 2. Easy dinner. You can add some cubed chicken to it or some lean chop meat 92%... Uhhh chopmeat cooks very fast so and not much to heating up veggies and rice in the microwave... you can heat the brown rice in a pan to with all the other stuff in it. If you dont like soy sauce try getting soffrito. Its this salsa type stuff that spices up a dish real good only 5 cals and 45 sodium 1 carb per table spoon all u need is 2 to really get a dish going. Hope this helps. Im able to cook this up in 10 mins or less. prep time is nothing if you cook the rice for the week.
