  • (Genes) bf, fat, weight question?

I got this question ive been wanting to know. I aint no doc nor health expert but wanted to know if u all knew about this.

There are people out there who are skinny, mid-built, and big boned or gain fat quick. The thing is there are some people whos genes make them put on weight quickly. Is there gaining of weight due to how they eat, or do they have to eat little and still gain. There are some people who dont even eat that much nor exersice and put on weight. I know bad foods are a major factor in this, like restaurant foods, candies, sugars, soft drinks.

(I mean this as in my friend whos skinny as hell and 6'2''. He eats like a pig and doesnt gain weight. But i got another friend who could eat one meal and add pounds. Why is this?)

I currently got a friend who is big in frame and always as a kid was big. He was currently juicing and the guy got big. Even at times when he doesnt juice up, he eats alot of protein and gets massive quickly. But when he doesnt do jack shit, he puts on serious fat on his body.

Does family genetics have alot to do with this? Lets say a persons family is over weight, or have a little weight on them. Also the person was in good shape, but all of a sudden started putting on weight. Eating is a bit bad and the person doesnt exercise. I know exersice is a huge factor too for weight loss as is the diet.

But if family genes are a factor in this, could there be a way for the person not to put on some weight even though they worked out and dieted. As in making there metabolism faster and making them more active. What are your thoughts on this?

Sorry but i posted this here because i didnt know where else to post it, since it has to do with food and nutrition.

Categorising your body types is important for you to understand.

I seem to be cross between mesomorph and a ectomorph.

heres a list of the types you may find interesting.

Categorising your body types is important for you to understand how to lose weight more effectively. Body type endomorphs tend to struggle with weight control.

    Body types

The body types are a scientific classification of a person's body shape determined by physical characteristics. Genetics determine our body types and hence the body shape we develop from birth through to adulthood. We cannot change our body type we can only make the most of what mother nature gave us. Getting the most out of our body types depends on our diet and exercise regime.

There are 3 basic categories of body types:

    endomorph

    ectomorph

    mesomorph
It is important to note that there are no individuals that are 100% endomorph, ectomorph or mesomorph. Each of us displays a mixture of body type characteristics although one body type is usually dominant.

Endomorphs are characterised with big bones, round face, large trunk and thighs and a naturally high degree of body fat, especially around the midsection. Endomorphs usually struggle to control their weight although it usually means that more effort may be required for the endomorph to lose weight.

No matter what body type you possess its possible to achieve a great shape!

Mesomorphs are characterised with broad shoulders, narrow waist, naturally large muscles and fast metabolism due to the amount of lean muscle. For men a mesomorph looks like a natural muscle man with a heavy, hard and athletic physique.

Ectomorphs are characterised with a thin, linear appearance. They often possess narrow waist, hips and shoulders. The ectomorph also has a low body fat percentage.

Ectomorphs may be considered lucky to some people because their linear appearance and ultra fast metabolism enables the ectomorph to stay slim even if they eat well, however the downfall is ectomorphs lack shape due to their low muscle weight. Lean muscle weight is what gives us that shapely figure.

hey dg, but do u thnik for endo-people its harder for them to get in shape, since they struggle to control their bf or weight. I know some people like that who only eat once and still out on alot of weight. Could there be also heath problems in the future with them.

but the awesome thing about this dude is he can put on massive amounts of mass in no time. He was at 235 2 years ago but leaner at 6'1''. Right now hes about 277 at same height. It just pisses me off at times in how hard im training and eating when at times he eats 2-3 meals a day and still gets huge. Even more mass when hes on roids.

            Its all in the genetics.

A guy with great genetics can eat twice a day and look great and then the guy with bad genetics can do everything perfect and still look like shit. It all comes down to what you were born with. Everyone can improve themselves but they have to be realistic with there goals.

thast the thing with him bro, he trains and trains but with no routine. Maybe doing 3 sets of bench, cable pull downs, 3 sets of tri's, and some 3 sets of leg presses in one day. The next doing 3 sets of heavy shoulders, not doing them properly and then some cable crunches with some curls 3 sets too. Thats all he does, one day routine 1 the next the second. I tell him to get a routine but the guy dont listen. And with roids, man he wanted to juice up, so he did. He told me to juice up for 4 weeks for a boost, lol. He tells me, thats how bbers do it. Im like fuck only if he knew. I tell him 10 weeks or more is good, he denies it. Also he dont know about pct. Hes the same guy im talking about that grew some tits because of 12 weeks of dbol. The dudes just an idiot.

Some people are not too wise on what they do or want. No wonder why some make roids look bad.
