  • If you miss bread...

try "Natural Oven's Bakery- Golden Crunch". I'm pretty sure thats what the name is. Anyways EACH slice has 80 calories, 0.5 grams of saturated fat (I think, it's not in front of me) and 8 grams of protien. Combine this with some sugar free jelly (25 calories) and 2 tbsp of power butter from GNC and thats a 32 gram protein PBJ. The bread tastes great too- has flax seed and lots of good stuff in it :)

protein from grain sources aren't really worth counting as they do not help you in building muscle.

i know it's better than white bread, but she's counting it as a protein source - that's why she's adding up the protein content - and not listing the carbs.

I eat all kinds of bread...bagels, rye, honey wheat, etc. Try some fresh bread right when it is still warm from a good bread machine. Now that tastes awesome!

The protein from grain sources are not complete proteins meaning they dont build muscle. When you are counting total protein eaten in a day you dont count grain sources.
