  • Critique this cut diet please

    Hey whats going on guys? I haven't really posted much here but I just start looking around again and this seems like an amazingly knowledgable site. If you have time could you give me tips on my diet.

    stats:
    5'5" 145lbs
    9-10% bf

    meal 1:
    2 whole eggs, 2 whites
    2/3 cup oatmeal

    meal 2:
    1 piece whole wheat bread
    1 can tuna or chicken
    salad with crab meat

    meal 3:
    6 ounce chicken
    4oz sweet potato
    1 ounce nuts

    meal 4: (homemade mrp)
    1/4 scoop oats
    1 scoop protein
    1/2 cup cottage cheese

    meal 5:
    1 cup cottage cheese
    1 tbs flax

    I know I need more veggies but they are terrible tasting and I don't like them much when I have to reheat them.(poor excuse)
    i cut a meal out because it seemed I wasn't losing fat fast enough. I am towards the end of my diet but I would like to get down to 7-8% bf. I do cardio 4 times a week for about 25-30 minutes and I train 5 times a week. Thanks for your time guys, I truly appreciate it.

    Figure your basal metabolic rate and this cuts out the guessing game.... secondly, whats your cardio like and are you using any supplements to aid you? This normally goes against what I preach, but if one is trying to get to a low body fat (which 7% is fairly low) more often than not, OTC supplements are needed.....

      Using the bmr I figured my calorie intake should be around 2500, and I am taking in around 2200 right now. My cardio usually consists of light jogging or walking on an incline keeping my heart rate in the fat burning zone for 3 days and 1 day of HIIT. Currently I am only using protein powder for supplements. I have some creatine, but debating if I should wait until I start bulking. Thanks for your help.
