  • I'm lookin to buy protein powder

I've never bought any before, but I'm not getting enough protein throughout my day, im probably not even consuming 100g per day, and I am looking to start consuming about 3 1/2 times that

i wanna know what brand(s) are the best, or which ones you would specifically recommend...

i wanna know if ebay is the cheapest way for me to get it

can i possibly get them at a regular grocery store

if i can find it cheaper then on ebay, where would that be?

and generally how many pounds would be an estimated months worth of supply?

visit our sponsor powernutrition.net or allthewhey.com for protein powders.

but imho - you should try to eat as much real food as you possibly can. EAT MORE MEAT!

Dpsnutrition.com also has good stuff. I stick with optimum nutrition 100%whey. Powernutrition also carries that. It seems to be the local favorite around here.

you know, poeple may flame me for saying this, but i find that muscle tech products taste the best, if price isn't a factor. i love nitro-tech.

I would stick with Optimum's protein. Best bang for the buck.

Here is the link to Optimum on our site: Optimum Nutrition

BTW, we are cheaper than DPS on Optimum 5 & 10 pounders!

the 10lb bag of optimum nutrtion whey has 155 servings if memory serves me correct...each serving has 20 grams protein and 110 calories I believe, I take 2 servings after the gym...so 77.5 days it would last ya if u take 2 a day....someone correct me if I'm off with the total servings

do you only take it after your workout? I noticed the bouncer said he takes some when he wakes up along with his breakfeast

how should i decide how much protein I should consume daily?

determine ur goals...how many calories u need for those goals, figure out your fats, carbs, and protein percentages that would be best to attain those goals. Use protein supplements accordlingly haha....I only take it after my workout, some take protein before and after, but your obv. want to get the majority of your cals and protein from real foods over protein shakes IMO. Now to further explain what I wrote previously right, say you want to bulk up, your going to need extra protein and calories the best way it to setup a diet for yourself and figure out how many grams protein, carbs, fats, and total cals your eating daily now to maintain...a lot of people use protein shakes to get those extra grams of protein when they can't get them from food I would say. I don't know the Bouncer's personal stats but pretty sure he's a big dude and his protein needs are probably higher than avg. person so he would be using protein shakes plus his other huge meals to achieve the results he wants. for example he has a shake w/ breakfast, maybe one mid-day, post workout, and before bed...it really depends on the person bro. Some people like having a lot of shakes others do not...
