How close do you guys track your sodium intake. Like with eating frozen chicken breasts, they contain sodium when should i get concerned. how many mg's

I wouldn't really be too concerned about it just enjoy your food. Unless of course your a week out from competition then you must start to slowly back off on your sodium intake.

I don't worry that much about it either...just don't be reaching for the salt shaker as often. I also limit foods that I know are high in sodium such as tuna. I try to have les than 6 cans a week.

Good point, the way I look at it is I do not go out of my way to purchase foods or eat foods that I know are high in sodium. The tuna example is a good one, I tend to purchase canned tuna that I know does not have added salt. Trader Joes is great for foods like that and it is not that expensive..I also buy canned vegetables that I know have less sodium in them. Also lately when I have time I have been cooking my own beans..

I do add some sea salt when I cook.
