  • my daily food intake.

    here is what i ate yesterday and prety much everyday
    9:30 6 egg whites + 2 whole
    11:45 salmon & rice + 4 oatmeal cookies
    1:00 workout
    2:20 N-large pws + apple
    3:30 2 cans tuna with top ramen
    5:00 detour bar
    6:30 chicken breast sandwitch
    10:00 iso pure low carb protine shake

    im 6-1 weigh 228 low body fat (GH) i dont want to compete or anything but im wondering is this not enough food cuzz of the GH or am i just stuck at 230?

      It looks like you don't have enough carbs or fat in there to really grow. I would add more complex carbs - grains, veges, etc. and good fat - nuts, PB, flaxseed to each meal, except the post-workout meal.

      I could only guess at the total calories, but that's definitely less than I eat in a day and I weigh less than 180!

        I would add a meal in earlier than 930 if you can. some green veggies, good fats and some sort of meat maybe

          Youre a bodybuilder, not on snack time at school, ditch the oatmeal cookies.

          No reason for the apple, other than the potassium. Apples contain fructose, which fills liver glycogen, not much use for post workout muscle glycogen recompensation.

          5:00 detour bar
          Not a meal. Might as well have a Snickers.

          10:00 iso pure low carb protine shake
          Make sure this isnt 100% whey.
          At 228, this isnt nearly enough calories to grow.

            yellow jacket i like the way you broke it down very help full. in my 9:30 you said add oats is there a instant oatmeal that you like or recomend?
            11:45 my mom makes the best oatmeal cookies ill have to send you some
            2:20 the apple is just cuzz i like them
            5:00 detour bar i have a few left then im switching to a better kind
            10:00 iso pure is 100% whey should i use the n-large here also?
            not enough cals to grow should i just try and eat more or switch things up?

              Instant oats are generally garbage. Theyre loaded with sugar, and thats about all they are. You can make a mal replacement shake thats pretty good in the mornings, it consists of:

              16oz milk or water
              1 table spoon natural peanut butter
              1/3 cup oats
              2 scoops whey powder
              1 tablespoon flax or fish oil

              My mom makes the best chocolate cake, but that doesnt mean I have to eat it everyday. Id send you some, but I dont share :)

              Try a protein blend, with casein protein, or some variation that is slow digesting so youre not essentially fasting overnight.

              Eat more. Double some portions, add a meal, etc. Just get clean calories each day by any means necessary.

                ok thanks again bro i will be tryin your shake monday morning will it be ok to drink after my eggs or wait a lil? and i didnt mean i eat oatmeal cookies ed it was just that day. i will also get a different blend of protein & try to eat more!
