Thanks, YJ. I do need to start dumping in more whole foods instead of trying to get it the easy way out with a shake!! Time for my favorite time of the week!! Grocery Shopping :D

Just buy some casein protein like Optimum Nutritions PM protein. Most companies have some sort of casein protein. You basically just want a very slow absorbing protein that will feed your muscles through the night. Cottage cheese is a good food way to do it but casein protein is a good alternate way as a shake. I like the taste of the ON. The only other one I tried was the VPX but it was really expensive.

Why would you buy a casein protein blend, when you can consume whole foods for a cheaper price? Geeez.

Because he doesn't like cottage cheese and the price difference between cottage cheese and a casein protein shake is almost negligible.

Doubtful. Bulk cottage cheese is relatively inexpensive, as opposed to bulk casein protein.

From the sources I have available to me my casein protein is 2.9cents/gm of protein and my cottage cheese is 2.7cents/gm of protein.

From the sources I have available, I get casein protein for free and Id still rather have cottage cheese since it is a whole food. But for the average person, gettign a bucket of cottage cheese at Costco is much cheaper than getting a bucket of casein protein.

Interesting.... I enjoy reading your posts but I notice something different. Whenever someone disagrees with you post - YOU throw a tantrum.

Its not just you I see it often. People who spend lots of time on this site turn into a bunch of crybabies once someone disagrees with them. Maybe its just part of the scene...=)

YJ is one of the most knowledgeable people on this site. We dont need to go bashing him for having another view. His expertise is invaluable.

YJ doesn't know anything about whether or not this guy likes to eat cottage cheese, so a recommendation to try casein protein shakes was in order. if that's a tantrum, then I guess you're right. if it's not, then I guess you're wrong!
