  • Bouncers Caribbean Ground Turkey

Ok guys, since it is my cutting season again I will be posting some more new recipes. All my recipies are easy to do and taste pretty damn good for being such clean meals.

Its called, "Bouncers Caribbean Ground Turkey"

    1lb Ground Turkey

    Half Onion

Lawrys Caribbean Jerk with papaya juice Marinade sauce. (You can find this in any store.)

Little bit of salt and pepper and thats it.

1.Cook up the Ground Turkey in a skillet on the stove.

    2. Cut up the onion into small pieces and put it in with the turkey and let cook for a bit until the onions are starting to brown a little.

    3. Add in about 5-6 TBSP of the Caribbean Sauce and mix in to the turkey. Let sit for about 5 minutes and enjoy.

    Thats it!

What does the seasoning taste like? I've never had jerk seasoning.

I did Jamaica on my honeymoon and had a bunch of meats done with jerk seasoning that was really good. I haven't had any luck finding good jerk seasonings here since I left jamaica. I'll have to try this recipe though-sounds good!

Bouncer I hate this recipe!!!!!! I cooked it and took a bite and next thing I knew I ate 1.5lbs of ground turkey haha. In all seriousness I really like the taste of this and am going to continue to fix it. If you have anymore ground turkey recipes post them up

For the guys that have been to jamiaca and have had real jerk chicken, you will be disapointed with this recipe. i have had jamican jerk chicken and that is good shit. the sauce i use in my ground turkey dosent really taste like jerk seasoning but its damn good when your dieting.

                      Hey B,

I just made a variation of this cause I didn't have Jerk marinade. Used Sesame Ginger instead. Served it over brown rice and it was excellent. I can imagine a plethora of permutations of ground beef or turkey with any of the Lawrys marinades. Darn good healthy meal. I'm gonna have to start looking on here for more good recipes.

                          Holy Sh!t, Jackpot!

This is some good stuff! It's too late to cook some rice to go with it though.

May 5-6 tablespoons of the Jerk marinade turned into about 1/3 the bottle unfortunately, but damn it's some good stuff!

If any of you have been to P.F. Chang's and had their mixed meat lettuce wraps, this reminds me of the flavor of the meat to some degree.

                          Thanks Bouncer!

This is a great recipe Bouncer! I had to use a different jerk sauce but it was still good. The stuff I had was super spicy and it had me sweating!!! Great taste though and sure a nice change from chicken.

What do you guys use for ground turkey? The 99% fat free is so damn expensive. I just use the 93% and suck all of the juices out after I brown the meat to try to get the fat out. What I want to do is buy a meat grinder to grind turkey breast for ground meat.
