  • popcorn in diet

I got a question on popcorn. Is it a good thing to eat it once in a a while, at least once a week. Currently im going low on carbs and saw that i had some in the cabinet. So i put some in the microwave and ate some. All this week, ive been going low on the carbs and high in the protein, but get hungry every 2 hours. If its a no no, i wont eat it no more.

I hate popcorn so I never eat it but from what I understand, it's not the worst cheat food. It's carb density is very low so it's not that bad, but I certainly wouldn't eat it daily. I would also stick to the unbuttered. I just looked at a couple popcorn manufacturer websites and it looks like a bag of popcorn can be about 50-60gms of carbs, which certainly is a lot better than a lot of cheat meals! There's even a fair amount of fiber in it, which is a good sign.

yeah popcorn is a really light food...You would have to eat a shit load of it to be really bad. I never cared for it though.

Thing about popcorn to me is it smells alot better than it tastes. Always disappointed once I taste it.
