  • Water and coffee

    Now i know i'm not imagining things but last week on here i was reading a post which contained information on water and coffee, both for stripping fat, now i know water is good as drinking it regular removes fat before your body has time to store it. But i can't for the life of me remember what was mentioned about the coffee and i was trying to explain this to someone.

    has anybody else also seen this post, if so where can i find it?

    Not sure about the post you are referring but speaking from my experience with coffee...it not only cleans my system(makes me poop quite often) but it also works as a thermogenic with my body. I can drink coffee and start moving around, something as simple as house cleaning, and I will start to sweat. It just depends on ones body chemistry I guess!

      Any advice on drinking coffee when dieting? I have always tried to cut out coffee at least a couple weeks before a show but it's so addictive, especially when I'm doing cardio in the mornings before work.

      I can't drink it black either. :( Always need a little milk & sugar which I know isn't good.

        Actually, coffee when dieting isn't bad. Coffee is a diuretic, among other things, can also keep "everything moving downstairs" LOL.

        I would cut it about a week from the comp. I used to drink it with milk & Splenda, but once I started dieting, had to drop the milk. I got used to it, and rarely take milk in my coffee now.
