  • carb countdown "dairy beverage"

Carb Countdown "dairy beverage" has 0 g fat, 3 g carbs, and 12 g protein per serving. It contains milk, but should it still be avoided if you're avoiding dairy? It doesn't really seem to have much in the way of dairy sugars, or any sugars at all...

I'd determine that by seeing what is in the list of ingredients--I don't know what they use to make it, but I would guess that it is still dairy--and if it is dairy free, I'd be concerned what chemicals they're using to make it. I can't find their ingredients/nutritional information on their website.

Just found more info on their site-it is a dairy product, but it has most natural milk sugars removed and then has Splenda added to resweeten the liquid. The milk sugars are what is less than desirable for weight loss, so this may be an acceptable milk alternative.
