  • How much protein in egg whites....

I've looked and searched, but can only find how much protein is in the whole egg, not just the whites. Does anybody know? :dunno:

I believe it is about 4 for a standard size egg and 5 for a an extra large egg.

Thanks for your reply. I found something just now on it also on aboutnutrition.com. It said:

Eggs are a complete source of protein. Both white and yolks contain proteins. The yolk has fats, while the whites do not. One large egg white has 3.6 grams of protein. The whole egg would have about 6.5 grams of protein. Many people avoid the yolks to eliminate fats, however, Omega Eggs can be a great source of omega 3 essential fatty acids, and the yolks are also a great source of lutein.
