What i have written to my plan is actually 100 calories off. im still missing about 25 grams of protein due. i guess i could do some eggs or something.

i was wondering if my carbs are too low. I weigh 172 at about 8% bodyfat right now. my show is in less than 6 weeks now and i need to get down to 153 lbs. yall think i'll make it?

I have to admit I just jumped back in my chair in shock when I saw that you want to get down to 153. Lets think about that. If you're 172 at 8% right now, than means you have ~13.76lbs of fat to lose. So if you were to lose all of your fat you would be at 158.24lbs. That is not realistic as you're not gonna get lower than 3%. I'll be the last to say anything is impossible cause I don't wanna discourage anyone but ...

As far as your carbs being too low, I wouldn't necessarily say they're much too low, but I wouldn't be afraid of adding some PWO cause you're bodies gonna burn through those so fast anyway you're not gonna risk losing putting any fat on. I would actually take the fat out of the pwo meal and add carbs.

Is the 153 necessary to get into the weight class you wanna be in cause it seems like you're definitely gonna lose some muscle mass to get into that weight class. I think you might risk coming in not looking very full.

damn!!!! 1st of all don't do cardio on an empty stomach(lets just say you'll eat your muscle for energy because glycogen is empty, 2nd increase your carbs at least up to 1-1.5 per pound, I mean cmon your 6 weeks out not 1 or 2 and u don't even carb up after cardio, hell u don't don't even carb up at least upon waking, 3rd where the hell is your nighttime support like casein protein, shit its bad enough u don't eat carbs early in the day, look, u want to lose fat not muscle, just tryin to save u bro :) :D

Cardio on an empty stomach has been debated forever.

I'd have some protein right when you wake up though. Maybe Isopure 0 carb (50g protein/0g carbs).

Post workout you've got to throw some high GI carbs in there. 3 tbsp of dextrose and 3 tbsp of malto should do it. If you want to keep carbs low pull them from somewhere else but make sure you have the post workout carbs in there. Also, throw the flax out of the post workout shake, you want those carbs filling you up fast, no need to slow the process down with fats.

I was in the same place you are as far as your weight now and the weight you have to make. Plain and simple if you're going to make that weight then you're going to have to lose muscle. It was a complete pain in the ass to do it and it was hard as all hell. I don't think I would even recommend it. Get down as lean as you can and then if you're close to that weight try to get to it, but I wouldn't suggest trying to kill yourself to make that weight. Look the best you can and get as lean as you can and let your weight fall where it may.
