  • My mass diet-good or bad?

Right now im at 165 pounds im 5'11. My goal is 190 pounds in about 10-12 months. This what i have come up with after a little bit of research please critique. The question i have is, would eating 8 whole eggs a day be a bad idea or should i just eat the whites?

    8am-Myoplex 1 tsp flaxseed oil
11pm- 4 whole eggs 1 cup of hash browns, oatmeal
2pm-chicken breast with 1/2 cup of rice
5pm-4 whole eggs in tortilla w/salsa
8pm-6 oz of tuna , baked potato, 1 cup of veggies
    10pm-myoplex 1tsp flaxseed oil

    Aprox. 2500 cal, 240 g protien, 180g of carbs, 80g of fat

Looks more like a fat loss or "cutting" diet. Not very good.

Agreed, drop the yokes (except for maybe one per meal) and eat just the whites, thats where the protein is at. I'm currently cutting and your diet looks more strict than mine. You've gotta get more clean foods in your system. I know thats not always as easy as it sounds.

if your trying to bulk you need to double your chaloric intake, that looks like a cutting diet to me.

Double your caloric intake will certainly cause you to bulk--into a fat slob. Caloric intake should be determined after you calculate your BMR and consider your intended workout routine and how fast you want to gain and how lean you care about staying.

You need alot more carbs as well bro, you are about the same size as myself and I'm eating around 350-400 grams of carbs a day with around 250-300 grams protein...some say it's too much but I'm making great gains and feeling real good, also keep in mind with as much food as your about to take in you may want to think about a digestive enzyme to help break down the proteins, and dense carbs.....just my .02 cents...good luck bro!
