  • Protein/Water Ratio

When taking protein drinks, if the mixture calls for 2 scoops with 12 oz. of water, does it matter if you mix the 2 scoops with 25 oz of water. Does the ratio of water and mixture affect what you body is getting out of the drink.

    Thanks

It shouldn't matter unless you are changing the water to milk or juice. If you change to milk or juice you will have to take into account the fact that the absorbtion rate will be altered.

Thanks for the info. I added more water because it made the solution a little thinner and was easier to drink.

I prefer my shakes on the wattery side too. :)

You should try different powders, some make the drinks much thicker than others.
