  • Working on putting together a diet and need a few answers

#1 what are the nutrition facts on egg whites, the label on the box is for egg whites + yolk, not without

#2 if you have with your lunch some green beans.....will you actually measure out a precise amount of green beans when you eat or get nice portion and just eat and guess that's = to three servings

#3 if you were to have a glass of tea with your dinner do you include that in your daily water amount at all...or are shakes included in that at all?

#4 most veggies i get won't have any type of nutrition facts, or fruits for that matter......like a banana i have no idea what the facts are, is there a good website anywhere that lists common foods and their nutrition statistics

ill probably have a few more questions as i'm just quickly thinking of the top of my head....i eat good things i just dont know if i'm eating the proper amounts so i'm gonna try to calculate everything i'm eating and have everyone here critique

Not a bad question but it gets asked too much (I asked it too at first though :D so don't feel too bad).

#1 An egg white is about 4gms protein for a large egg.

#2 I started out measuring everything but you get an eye for it pretty quickly. Also, some of the tupperware with separated sections for different foods, lets you put the same amount in everytime.

#3 All liquid counts toward the total, except perhaps what you drink while working out cause that is probably primarily replacing what you're losing through sweat. Remember to add more if you drink anything that may be a diuretic, such as caffeinated drinks.

#4 There are numerous websites that list that information, including www.fitday.com. Just google what you're looking for and it should be easy to find. Heres another one for common fruits.
