I'd say given those options, leave it the way it is. The shake has more fat than i'd want first thing in the morning. The shake looks like a good meal replacement, but I prefer eating really clean for my first meal in the morning so that I can halt any catabolic processes ASAP.

i would pobably go shake first then eat food second meal. your muscles and body are craving nutrients upon rising.

about 6 days a week i wake up to 8 egg whites, occasionally i will treat myself to 6 egg whites and 2 yolks but maybe twice a week tops
i feel weird if i dont eat some type of solid food when i wake up.....like if you don't go to the gym for a day or two and your skin isn't feeling quite as tight, i get a feeling like that

Rocket, I've done the same thing as bowbow and feel a lot better if I'm eating more protein. A scoop of whey and 6 eggs is still only about 50gms of protein and then you get both. If your options had offered a different shake with less fat, I probably would've picked that. I just don't like a lot of fat in the first meal of the day. If you were to take out the PB and flax oil, I probably would have said to do the shake first.
My first reply was based entirely on the "cleanness" of the meal, not whether a shake or solid foods were better.
