so we went up to the river today and went fishin :D . Now i have me a whole stringer of trout in the frig, and I need some idea's on how to cook em. Any idea's at all are welcome
In a small bowl, mix together the paprika, salt, cayenne pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, white pepper, black pepper, thyme and oregano.
Heat a large cast iron skillet over high heat for 10 minutes or until extremely hot.
Dip fish into the olive oil and sprinkle each fillet generously with the seasoning mixture. Place the fish fillets in the hot skillet. Cook until the coating on the underside of the fish starts to blacken (3-4 minutes). Turn the fish over. Pour a tablespoon (+/-) of olive oil over the fish and cook for another 1-2 minutes or until the fish flakes with a fork.
