  • Diet help for major gains

I am using Cyp 250mg/ml at 2cc every 4 days for 12 weeks, my bmr is 3427, I am 6'2 and 205. I am looking to gain as much muscle as humanly possible while still keeping to less than 15 lbs fat, currently at roughly 10. How should my diet look to match my goals? I figure add in some fat burners and go for 5000 cals a day with 30 min cardio 3x a week. Any advise would help.

also, would anyone suggest a different dose for those 12 weeks, I think half that would do me well... what do you guys think?

It's much easier to fix a current diet than create one that you will follow. Go ahead and post your planned diet with what you eat and at what time of the day. Also let us know where your workout is with in that layout.

I don't have a set in stone day to day diet, but here is a day in the dieting life of myself... Meal #1: Whey Protein Shake (32g protein), 1.5 cups oatmeal, one piece of ww toast. Meal #2: 8 oz chicken breast, 1 cup pasta, 1/2 cup tomato sauce, glass of skim milk. Meal #3 PWO: Protein Shake, 8 oz chicken breast, glass of skim milk. Meal #4: again 8 oz chicken breast, potatoes (mashed without butter), veggies (mixed), 2 glasses of skim milk. Meal #5: Peanut butter sandwich (ww bread), glass of milk, some mixed nuts. Meal #6: again 8 oz chicken breast, 1 cup pasta, 1/2 cup tomato sauce, glass of skim milk..... this diet is full of chicken instead of tuna, because I have gotten sick of tuna, I can no longer thing of tasty healthy ways to prepare it. I usually wake up late, say 1 ish ( don't hate me, I work late at night), and work out roughly 3ish. I go to bed around 3 am.

          You need some PWO carbs.

If you're currently 6'2" with only 10 pounds of bf you are only holding onto 5% bf - is this correct??? It sounds pretty damn low if your not contest dieting. Did you mean that you are at "roughly" 10% bf right now and you don't want to exceed 15% bf during your bulking phase????

It will help with the critique of your diet...

oops, guess that wasn't really that clear. I will clarify this a little, I have roughly 15% bf at this current point. I was thinking roughly 10 lbs more than I should, thanks for pointing that out. I have added more carbs to my PWO meal, I now add some mixed fruit to the shake ie. raspberries and blueberries.

                hey snow,

add in a cup of oats to that pwo shake and it'll be perfect.

you're diet looks pretty good to me. the only other addition id make would be to add in 5g or so of fish oil capsules. Also, I noticed you drink a lot of milk, thats good, but keep milk out of the PWO meal. Dairy (casein) gels up in the stomach and slows down digestion. Its not really a huge deal, but if you wanna maximize gains like you said, you might as well drop the milk from that meal.

                good luck.

                  Hey again,

I thought I'd do an SM style revision of your diet. Like I said, its pretty good now, but if you wanna make it perfect, here are some suggestions:

Meal #1: Whey Protein Shake (32g protein), 1.5 cups oatmeal, one piece of ww toast.

Meal #2: 8 oz chicken breast, 1 cup pasta, 1/2 cup tomato sauce, glass of skim milk.

Meal #3 PWO: Protein Shake, 8 oz chicken breast, glass of skim milk.

Meal #4: again 8 oz chicken breast, potatoes (mashed without butter), veggies (mixed), 2 glasses of skim milk. Change the potatoes here to yams or sweet potatos, or brown rice

Meal #5: Peanut butter sandwich (ww bread), glass of milk, some mixed nuts. I like the PB. You need some more protein here though. So add in whatever, eggs, chicken, tuna...etc.

Meal #6: again 8 oz chicken breast, 1 cup pasta, 1/2 cup tomato sauce, glass of skim milk A lot of people prefer to not have carbs this close to bed. When I bulk I have carbs, but I make sure that they are really low GI--pasta isn't horrible, but there are much better options like oats, yams, brown rice, barley. Also, make sure this tomato sauce you are using does not have added sugar or high fructose corn syrup.

One more thing. I seem to remember hearing people (Bouncer, maybe some others) that milk has no part in a bodybuilding diet. You seem to be drinking a TON of milk, so you might want to reconsider this. Other than for the PWO time frame, I'm not sure of the reasoning for this, maybe someone could let us know.

Thanks for the suggestions, as I said I want to make as much gains as possible, so every bit helps. I will try these suggestions out for a while and tweak the overall diet to fit my bodies reaction. I will post how it works for me, hopefully I gain some solid pounds.

Given your size, I would suggest you stay with the 2X/wk schedule, 1CC each inject.

500mgs/wk is a great first cycle for someone your size. Your going to grow really well off of that, and you probably will not see any sizes at all. Just make sure you have some anti-e around, just in case your nipples start to hurt (mine did during my first cycle, which was 400mgs/wk; but I am pretty sensitive to it.

Finally, someone asks a question about doing something reasonable for their first cycle! :)

                      Good luck.
