Does anybody have any good references for or links to information concerning the logic behind cheat meals as a beneficial part of a weight-loss strategy? Thanks.

The basic idea has to do with leptin manipulation, which affects how your body stores or burns fat. Cheat meals increase leptin output and cause fat cells to burn stored triglycerides. They are also good for your mental health! When you're dieting, these cheat meals, which are really...or should be...more of just a refeed, in which you arent cheating really, you eat a lot, but make it all clean and high in carbs, these allow you to temporarily rev up your metabolism, which will increase fat loss. These are important when you are already very lean.

LOL! Yeah, twice. I thought I recalled something being in there, but I gave it to a friend to read and he gave it to another friend. I'm forming my own little UD2 cult here in MN. I'll have to get another copy of our "Bible" cause I'm trying to convince another friend to give it a shot. BTW, good to hear from you YJ. Should've known a UD2 related question might bring you out! I know it was a long time ago, but thanks for the UD2 reference way back when I was dieting. It worked wonders--have you ever tried it for gaining mass?
