if i were to choose the high fat low carb diet for a contest would i eliminate fats before bedtime? im asking this becasue in the traditional diet (low fat) id eliminate carbs. and carbs are being substituted for fat.

eating before bed isnt a good idea unless its something like cottage cheese or a casein or micellar protein.... the theory behind a high fat diet is to eliminate the carbs to a point where fat is the chosen fuel instead..usually for a certain amount of time until your body goes into ketosis.(you can buy strips at most drugs stores they are called ketostix)you pee on the sticks to monitor ketones in your urine.blah blah blah your turn to do research..try c-k-d.com ask around over there you will get alot more answers about a low carb plan. here is a list of books that they advise. c-k-d is only one form of low carb dieting.
