I was just wondering what you guys use as far as schedule for bulking and cutting for the year. start cutting what month to get ready for summer? :hmmm: I'm in northern CA and was a little thick before I started really bulking. I dont want to get totally lean, but I am going to try to cut down a little bit for the warmer months.

i usually start 3-4 months out from date i want to be in shape.

I don't necessarily plan my bulking/cutting by the seasons. That being said, sometimes I'll go to a warm weather destination in the spring and so I'll use that as motivation for a cutting cycle. I never get that fat, so 8wks is sufficient for me to get reasonably lean.
