After years of experimenting, I've finally discovered what may be the perfect bodybuilding food. It's not dry, not bland, and it tastes just as good re-heated as it does when you first cook it. It's cheap and easy to cook. It's high in protein, low in fat, has good carbs and plenty of fiber. It started off as chili but through my own creativity it's evolved into what I now affectionately refer to as "Slop". You can tweak this recipe to your own tastes (in fact I haven't made it exactly the same way twice).
    Here's the recipe:

    Add to a large pot:
1.5 pounds lean ground beef (cooked, rinsed and drained)
20 oz boiled chicken (shredded or cut into chunks)
14 oz cooked, peeled salad shrimp (frozen is fine)
1 can tuna (I use albacore)
1 14 oz can of chicken broth
1 8.75 oz can of corn (frozen corn would be fine too)
1 14.5 oz can diced tomatoes
2 6 oz cans of tomato paste
1 15 oz can of black or red beans
    2 cups brown rice
    season with any combination of:
    garlic
    pepper
    sage
    basil
    oregano
    chili powder
    thyme
    onion powder
basically you can experiment with any seasonings that don't contain salt

stir while cooking on low heat 15-30 minutes and then eat/refrigerate/freeze

So I take it this could substitute for a serving of rice/beans/chicken in your beginners bulikng diet. Looks like I'm going shopping.

It just depends on how much you eat bro. The rice is cooked before being added, but you measure it out uncooked.

Dude I got burnt out on tuna long ago, can't stand the shit. Trust me when I say you canNOT taste it. I actually used two cans instead of one and I can't tell the chicken from the tuna.

I used to try to create my own fried rice w/tuna. Dad would be like WTF did you make in here or who did you have over.

These days I just eat straight out of the can...after it has been smothered in vinegar of course.

It's about 400 grams of protein (just from meat) so figure 8-10 serving.

Total protein is a little over 400 grams just from the meat. I'll figure out the rest soon...
