  • Gas

Since upping the amount of protein in my diet significantly I have had some problems with gas.

Not just normal gas, but horrible, smell of death like gas, that is almost non stop thorughout the day.

Will my body eventually get used to my new diet and stop doing this, or is this just how it is. Is there any way to alleviate this that any of you may use?

Welcome to your new diet :P

Click on the Superior-Research banner up top and go to the dietary supplements link - Lion has a digestive enzyme that should help....

I thank you. And so do my friends, co-workers, and girlfriend.

I consume about 400 grams of protein a day. 250 g of that is from whey, or myoplex shakes (which is basically whey, and egg protein). I weigh 208 right now.

The rest comes from tuna, beef, chicken, turkey, or the proteins that are in my rice, beans, other carbs.

The problem has gotten a little better over the last two days. I did get some enzymes just in case.

Beef Jerky seems to really set it off though so I am trying to shy away from that. It's just so damn good and convenient.
