it just depends...like last week i treated myself to an 18oz. ribeye cause i haven't had a steak in so long and then this past week i couldn't tell you if i had anything that didn't go in the microwave (junk). i'm using GNC's whey protein, i average one a day...i know i should do more but again, $30 at best for a couple weeks of extra protein can't fit in my budget so i mainly drink a couple scoops after workouts. i really, entruly have tested just about every product GNC offers, especially anything that reads, "for hardgainers". I have done muscle milk with results not worthy of talking about....universal animal stak for hardgainers, GNC mega men's vitamins, wheybolic extreme, and every kind of creatine on the shelf. So, i've spend hundreds if not thousands on that stuff....lately it's been all me with a protein shake every now and then. I have no doubt that if somebody was my cook and made sure i actually ate all these things like a loaf of break a day, i could gain the weight. anybody out there want to come down to ga southern and be a guy's chef????!!!!!

you would be better off buying your protein in bulk from much cheaper places then GNC. check out www.allthewhey.com bro

:bravonew: very true. people seem to think its will break the bank to eat healthy. i go to costco twice a month and spend about $150 each time. that includes none food items like detergent etc.. not to bad.

everything you said after that is worthless... meaning all the supps in the world aren't going to do shit on their own. they're supps by definition. back to what i'm thinking... inconsistency will wreak havoc with your weight-gain goals. i'm not saying that the microwave doesn't have it's place in the kitchen, but if you can't even remember what you're eating in the past several days, you're priorities aren't in line. you need food to live! food should come before homework and studies IMO, cause without nutrition your brain isn't going to work, let alone your body isn't going to grow. one thing that is often done is that body-builders will pre-cook a weeks worth of food when they get a chance and pre-package it up for the week as necessary. each weekend i'll cook a few days worth of chicken, burgers, whatever. then you can graze all week, or at least for a few days if downtime is short. as for muscle milk, i luv the shit and everyone here who's seen my posts can attest to that, but it's not for everyone. i just love the taste and take it in moderation... maybe one shake or two a day depending on my routine. everything else is food. so remember, consistent diet bro and you'll see the poundage go up!

check out westside barbell. Change your training and diet for a while. Your muscles grow as an adaption mechanism to strain. Force them to adapt to new training= growth however its of no consequence without the fuel for growing

Is he getting puffy or putting on muscle? Hopefully, he is staying away from the PB&J & meatballs.
