Im finally back in the gym about 3 or 4 days a week, my cardio is where i know i can improve a whole lot. As far as diet ive lost about 25 lbs in 3-4 weeks from cleaning my diet getting rid of every drink but water, ocassionaly ill have a lemon with my water but thats kind of a teaser. Im eating alot of protein and low carbs. Im a very busy person and its very hard for me to eat completely healthy with school and work. On a average day ill eat a honey and oats bar with peanut butter, lunch im eating boston market i know not great but normally 8oz of turkey, mixed veggies, and green beans. or i will eat 2 chicken breast, and a yogurt. there are times when i eat ground beef burgers no bun with a lil ketchup. im down to a point where ive only lost about 2 lbs the past week. i feel almost like im starving my metabolism only taking in about 1500 carbs a day and filling up on alot of water instead of eating. if i could eat smaller but more frequent meals it would be great. for those out there that know about a very hectic life betweeen a full time job and full time student, im looking for some imput. im gonna start working harder to get more cardio into my life before work in the morning at least 4 days a week of good cardio. i guess i know the things i need to do in order to improve my diet just need to do the things. trying to stay natural for good this time last time i rushed into getting bigger instead of staying focused on losing weight.

It sounds like you recognize that the diet isn't where it could be. Some of the foods I've found helpful for taking on the road or snacking when I can't carry cooked meals are packets of tuna or those tuna/salmon steaks in a packet, canned tuna, turkey or beef jerkey and carbs from oatmeal or sweet potatoes, even if you have to eat them uncooked. I've usually been able to pre-nuke or find a microwave to toss the sweet potato in long enough to soften it up a little. Don't be afraid of using a shake once or twice a day either--it's never as good as a whole food meal but it's better than an unhealthy meal, if you're looking to cut.
And also, two pounds per week is about where you should be if you're not excessively overweight and want to minimize muscle loss. And also, you could also be hurting yourself if you're not eating enough--going overboard on cutting calories isn't necessarily a good thing. have you calc'd your AMR?
It sounds to me like you know where there's room for improvement--better cardio and better nutrition--so do it!! I hate it but cardio in the morning before eating definitely seems to help with the weight loss a bit, so that's what I'm gonna go do now--good luck!

I sympathize with you being a full time student/employee, brother. I actually keep a blender stashed at work and a canister of oatmeal. I can toss it in their with some water, a packet of splenda, and drink my carbs in a minute. Also, I read a post by bouncer about getting the gerber sweet potato baby food and that's about as convenient as it gets.

still going strong but to be honest im still losing weight very very slow but at the same time i can see my chest sholders arms back thickening up. so maybe im swapping one for the other. i go more cardio into my life doing about 25 mins 5 days a week on the eliptical followed by about 15 mins of jumping rope. so its coming back. need to lose the gut that came on so fast when i stopped working out. right now im 510 and weigh in at about 206. to fat. but on a good note my bench went from 135 when i started 6 weeks ago to 225 for 7 last night. fyi i was in 2 motorcycl accidents that fucked my shoulders up so my weight dropped alot with 2 dislocated sholders and a torn rotator cuff but its comming back im loving it.
