  • Bouncer's pulled chicken slow cooker recipe.

This meal is great for the winter time season, warms you up. You can put it in the cooker in the morning and let it cook all day.

    Ingredients needed.

1/4th Vadalia Onion cut up into pieces.

Bell Pepper cut up into pieces (FB I know you dont like peppers, you dont need to add them if you dont want too.)

    3 cloves garlic chopped

3 cooked Chicken Breast pulled apart into shreds

    2 cups cooked brown rice

    3 cans basic tomato sauce

3-4 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Salt, Pepper, 1 1/2 packets of splenda

Put all ingredients into slow cooker aka crock pot, mix and set on low. let sit for 5-7 hours.

the cooked rice absorbs a lot of the tomato sauce and flavors from the garlic, onion etc. its texture really changes and it is fucking great! this makes about 3-4 separate meals for me. Made it the other day and am making it again now. enjoy and let me know what you think.

Sounds good (minus the green pepper) - I'll try it tomorrow.

Are you using the 14-15 oz size tomato sauce?

          15 oz

p.s. dont use as much onion as i originally posted. only about half of that is needed. i had it yesterday and while it was good it would have been better with less onion.

I don't even have a vidalia onion handy - maybe I should skip it altogether.

funny thing, when i made it the other day, it was without the pepper and onion. it was still damn good. the garlic is needed though.

Cool - I'll go w/out the onion and lots of garlic. I love garlic.

the brown rice really fluffs up a lot and absorbs it. plus some cooks off over the 5-7 hours.

Okay, another thumbs up for Bouncer - this is GOOD!

I used 3 cups of rice, 9 chicken tenderloin pieces (all I had), lots of garlic, and left out the pepper and onion.

Thanks - I love using the crockpot.
