I was never one to buy much ground beef but I started buying the lean ground beef recently. (the 7% fat stuff) i cook it up with some low fat cheese and put it on whole wheat bread, mmmm. i eat at least two of em a day. seeing that the 93/7 ground beef is only 8g of fat per 4 oz., this isnt too bad considering im trying to bulk up a little bit before i start dieting in the springtime is it?? anyone else just love a good burger?? any interesting ways of cooking em to spice it up even more??

try buffalo its even better than the 7% ground beef. also check out eziekal(sp?) bread. one meal I eat every day is 8oz buffalo mixed with 2 cups brown rice. sometimes I use a hot sauce and some times I put 2 over easy eggs on top and mix in.Originally posted by The_Grinder View PostI was never one to buy much ground beef but I started buying the lean ground beef recently. I had a turkey burger for my 2nd meal today..
I love burgers too YUM. Especially on the grill. I often put some fresh parsley, red onion, fresh garlic and cilantro in the chopper and chop it up fine.. Then add it to the meat.
Cook em up and put a slice of avocado and some tomatoes on it.. SO GOOD. :P

I kill my own beef, and make sure it's grass fed from a small farm, no grains and no chemical crap. It's a lot healthier and safer that way. Venison makes awesome burgers also. Grind your own and you know exactly what is going into it.
Using some breadcrumbs, Egg Beaters and (don't laugh) pureed fruit or veggies in your extra lean burgers can help make up for the lack of fat. I like very lean venison burger with roasted garlic and prunes, and organic grass fed lean beef with cilantro, whole grain bread crumbs and pureed cauliflower.

you ever have the Jenny-O pre made patties? pretty good, no crap added either.Originally posted by WonderWoman View Postwhy did it have to end...
My turkey burger is now gone, in my belly... :D Boy I wish I had another one.
I put chopped spinach/yellow and orange peppers and red onion/ garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper and a dash of cumin in the meat before I made the patties
SO GOOD...
