  • New Diet.. Solid?

Trying to revamp my diet... and this is what I came up with, what do ya think?

As soon as I wake up I slam a serving of whey protein and start cooking
    meal 1

Meal1-6 eggs rolled up into 2 whole wheat tortillas with salsa and an apple
Meal2-6 oz chicken breast with mashed sweet potatos
Meal3-8oz gound lean turkey over brown rice
Meal4-Shake consisting of oats, pb, and whey
Meal5-6oz teriyaki top sirloin with mashed sweet potatos and mixed greens
Meal6-2 tuna sandwiches on ezekiel bread
Meal7-3oz of hummus, muscle milk pudding and scoop of casein, then hit the sack

Supplements are multivitamin, bcaa pills, efa and fish oil pills

I am pretty consistent but if for some reason I cannot cook a meal, I have Universal Real Gains weight gainer on hand to slam if i absolutely have to

I guess that I am coming at this way wrong, that is why i come to you guys since you know your shit... I am 5'10" 165lbs pretty lean... GOAL: I want to put on about 20 lbs and be a solid, lean 185.. i know i must bulk first and then cut but could you guys help me out with both diets since I have had no luck in the past  Here are my BMR stats

BMR(5737), ActivityFactor(2868) ThermogenicFoodEffect(860)= 3728 to maintain weight, does this sound right? That is what I came up with... looking to do this in about 3 months, is this reasonable?

        Ok having posted tis:

Meal 1 - becareful wit the egg yolks becuz they will increase ur cholesteral, take out the tortilla and sauce, replace wit oatmeal, flax seeds, etc...

Meal 2 - needs vege's, instead of mashed sweet potato, try a whole mash potato (unless it is a sweet potato u boiled up and than smashed up)

        Meal 3 - add vege's

        Meal 4 - fine

        Meal 5 - fine

Meal 6 - fine, but don't go overboard wit the bread

Meal 7 - fine (but have u tried cottage cheese?)

Don't got crazy wit the weight gainer becuz in my own personal experience i have put on fat wit that in 2 weeks, one weight gainer shake a day won't kill u, but i rather eat natural.

        read tis sticky f u haven't http://www.superiormuscle.com/forums...ating-get-huge

Leanbeast, I actually like your diet if you are bulking. 20lbs of muscle/water/ and a little fat is very easily attainable in 3 months.

He's serious. We tend to not joke much in the serious threads. I would say shoot for 15. Bulking naturally I usually gain about a pound a week steadily. Sometimes slightly more but I never started as lean and light as you so its not unheard of that you can gain that. Yo obviously know that the gains will slow down. Dont go crazy with it but I would throw a couple cheat meals in a week. And by that I mean a big cheeseburger witha a salad or a steak meal at a restaurant. Make sure you're getting the protein and skip the worthless stuff like french fries and most appetizers.

i would say your genetics must not be the great. :) of course when bulking, you are going to gain some fat and water but make no mistake muscle growth is a big part of the weight gain.
