Well the plan was to start trying to cut up a little bit in late February so I can try and look good by late spring. (I'm really excited because I made some good gains since last summer.) I am only hoping to get to around 8% BF or so, don't want to go any lower than that. I'm about 12-13% now so it shouldnt be too hard. My question is, after I cut to where I want, how long can I maintain it without starting to lose muscle. Will I be able to stay at about 8% BF or so throughout the summer or will I need to eat a little more and add some BF to be sure I don't lose muscle?

Yeah I know im going to lose a little muscle getting from 12% BF to 8% BF. I am really just wondering if I can level off at 8% BF and retain the same amount of cuts and muscle mass for 3 or 4 months. I dont compete or anything so it seems weird to me to work hard cutting up and then just start to bulk up again as soon as i reach my goal.Originally posted by THE BOUNCER View Postthat is a hard question to answer. you are going to loose some muscle getting lean. depends on how well your diet is etc.
