I was wondering if anyone knows of any effective natural test boosters that work on the Leydig cells of the testicles? Most on the market are pituitary stimulants that aid in production of FSH or LH or the levels of bound test to the SHBG. I was looking for one that works at the Leydig cell level. Any thoughts?

Correct, the Leydig cells are activated by lutenizing hormone but there are certain other factors. HCG, human chorionic gonadotropin, is basically a form of mimicked LH. My question was not for a otc hcg. What I was wanting was another supplement that does not act as LH but is effective for helping the testicles to more efficiently utilize the levels of LH produced by the pituitary. Let me tell you what my probelem is. I have, after several rounds of blood work, discovered that while my FSH and LH levels are right, my levels of test, both bound and free, are low. This would indicate that the leydig cells are not responding in the way they should.

Then thats something to take up with a physician, not a OTC supplement. If there were such a supplement, there would be no need to use anything else.Originally posted by barbender View PostCorrect, the Leydig cells are activated by lutenizing hormone but there are certain other factors. Yeah, time has helped. My levels have gone up but it has been a very slow process. I got crazy sick at the end of my last cycle and like an idiot just stopped the gear and didn't use my PCT. I was too sick to even think about that. I know, I know, don't bust my balls about it. I know i screwed up. I have been off now for about 8 months I think but can't remember the exact time.

on what I've read you test levels should be where they are going to get to by now or another month on the basis it takes about 9 months, following the clearance of gear from you system, so perhaps ten months after your last test e shot for example.
I'm convinced that having done quite a few courses, if I or Stonecold or someone of similar ilk, dropped the gear, even after we had done proper pct and waited nine months, our test levels may be bellow average for our age. Thats because we have run the gear and ultimetely there may well be some degree of permanence to its suppresion effect on natural test.
On another note, I have felt mild improvements in aggressiveness in training and focus when using NO2 and tribulus extract. Ultimately though I don't think there is any holy grail of over the counter product to improve your natural test levels. I do thing the aforementioned products and especially creatine ethyl ester are good over the counter products that will improved your training.
Other than that, adequate rest and good diet are key to maintaining your body's recouperation and endocrine system (posibly supplemented with evening primrose oil). But thats about the sum of it.
There's natural, and then there's the other way

I felt the same way. Even after staying off for more than a year, and that being my ONLY cycle ever... I did not feel 100% fully recovered with the same feelings of natural agressiveness I originally had while being clean.
