    1. Cut up 3 chicken breasts into cubes

    2. Mix these ingrediants- (marinade)

    2 tablespoons cornstarch
    2 tablespoons water
1/4 teaspoon baking powder (use 2 of these b/c iddnet have backing soda)
    1/4 teaspoon baking soda
    1 teaspoon vegetable oil

*mix marinade and meat put in the fridge for at least 1/2 hr

    3. Make the Sauce
mix all this in a pot and heat on low for 10mins.
    1/2 cup water
    1 cup chicken broth
1/8-1/4 cup white vinegar or rice wine vinegar (depending on how sweet you want the sauce)
    1/4 cup cornstarch
    1 cup sugar
    2 tablespoons dark soy sauce
    2 tablespoons sesame oil
1 teaspoon chili paste (or more) - I used red pepper flakes instead

Peanut oil is best for crunchy but try canola....its better for you and cheaper.......this recipe isnt that bad for you....try whole wheat flour and just a little baking soda......dry sherry also makes it authentic.....or oyu can just buy the sauce.....its sugary but it will get your protein down in an enjoyable way!
