  • Maltodextrin Question

    I take 50g of protein and 50g of malto post workout only, both on cardio days and lifting days

    My question is, do i take the malto on cardio days or only on lifting days???

    I would think you're going to get answers both ways but I would say it depends on your goals. Bulking I would say take the malto for sure, (most mix malto and dextrose) If youre cutting I think the argument could be made either way. Even depending on the type. If youre doing relatively low intensity cardio I would me more inclined to skip it than if you were doing something very intense.

      I am cutting up right now and my cardio is always intense.

        i would just use it post workout on lifting days. on cardio days i would just eat a meal.

              Excellent...its 50g malto and 50g Whey Protein. Problem is it keeps me full really long, and i have no appetite to eat 45min later after drinking this shake.

                wow, i am exactly the opposite. i am absolutely starving about 30 min after the shake. you are mixing it with water correct? any fat in your protein powder? something dosen't seem right.

                  See, before i added the malto-dextrin i was starving 20-30min after my shake. Once i started add in the malto, its keeping me full. I am mixing it with water.
