i was just wondering how long it takes to speed up a person's metabolism. I know,i know,it depends on the person, but in general if one eats 3 or 4 moderate meals a day to 6-8 much smaller meals, how quick would a noticeable change in appetite develop? Sorry if this was worded weird or unanswerable,it sounds much better in my head.I appreciate any help,i was just curious on the topic.thanks again

i really don't think that is a question that can be answered. what you should be worried about is results etc..Originally posted by 3rdCoast View Posti was just wondering how long it takes to speed up a person's metabolism. i feel ya on the seeing results thing but its easy to lose weight and starve yourself eating 2 meals a day and you drop weight but that obviously isnt healthy.thats mostly why i was curious, but its all good

point was, eating 6-7 meals a day will speed up your metabolism and you will see results. who cares if it take 20 days or 50 days. you will see results in weeks if your diet is on point.Originally posted by 3rdCoast View Posti feel ya on the seeing results thing but its easy to lose weight and starve yourself eating 2 meals a day and you drop weight but that obviously isnt healthy.thats mostly why i was curious, but its all good

If this is the main point of your question then I would venture to say one to two weeks at the most - my clients typically complain of being full all week the first week or so but by the time the second week rolls around they're shocked to see that by the time two and a half hours comes around and they haven't eaten their body is telling them it's time to eat...Originally posted by 3rdCoast View Posti was just wondering how long it takes to speed up a person's metabolism. I doubt their metabolism has really caught on at that point but the fact that they're getting hungry for 7 meals a day is a good sign they are well on their way - seeing the results of the new diet usually takes well over a month if not longer for most if you take out the initial weight lost from water loss etc....

i see changes/ results in days after I start a certain type of diet. i dont start feeling hungry for all 7/8 meals though for 3 weeks or more. just one more reason that i am an alien i guess. lolOriginally posted by fog_hat1981 View PostIf this is the main point of your question then I would venture to say one to two weeks at the most - my clients typically complain of being full all week the first week or so but by the time the second week rolls around they're shocked to see that by the time two and a half hours comes around and they haven't eaten their body is telling them it's time to eat...
