Is it bad to have simple carbs versus complex carbs before and after a workout?

You need those polysaccharides chains to full you during your workout. The simple carbs are just mono-saccharides, and your body will use them for glycogen replacement.

my pre workout meal is also my first meal.

3 whole omega eggs, 1 1/4 cups oats, 1 scoop isolate, 1 cup coffee.

post workout shake is 65 grams maltodextrin and 50 grams whey isolate.

I work out first thing in the morning, I might drink some of sports drink to fill my system with some type of energy. if I am on a good diet than I use Vitargo with powdered Vit C, glutamine in it. and then a protein shake right after that.
