In the recent past I have been cooking chicken breast in a skillet with about 1 cup of white wine, some seasoning on top of the chicken breast, and lid over the skillet until done.
Does this alter the value of the chicken at all? I figure the sugars and alcohol would be cooked out of the wine just leaving a zesty type taste to the chicken, but is that right to assume?
