    Palumbo Diet:

    Supps:
    ESSENTIAL POLYUNSATURATES:
    -Omega-3 Fish Oil pills 1000mg 3x per day
    -Evening Primrose Oil (Omega-6) 1300mg 2x per day
    -Extra Virgin Olive Oil is still better for your heart! These are HEART HEALTHY MONOUNSATURATED FATS (along with MACADAMIA NUT OIL). MONO's are NOT essential fats; however, they ARE very heart healthy.

    NON ESSENTIAL but HEART HEALTHY
    Macadamia Nut oil (Omega-9 monosaturates) 2-3 ablespoons per day
    I'm a believer in a good whole food supplement. I've mentioned it before:

    Take all supps with food

    Diet: (for 250lb man)
    Meal 1 6 whole Omega-3 eggs
    Meal 2 8oz chicken with 1/2 cup raw almonds
    Meal 3 50g whey with 2 tablespoons all natural peanutbutter (PWO)
    Meal 4 8oz salmon with 1 cup asparagus with 1 tablespoon macadamia nut oil
    Meal 5 50 g whey with 2 tablespoon PB
    Meal 6 6 whole eggs
    (5 meals for Women)

    HAVE YOUR CHEAT MEAL ON THE SAME DAY EVERY WEEK, last meal of the day so you dont cheat again.

    FOR WEIGHT GAIN:
    Follow my same formula. . . High protein (50g per meal), Moderate Fat (25g per meal), and moderate carbs (35-50g per meal). If you're a hard gainer, eat 8-10 meals. If you're an easy gainer (but get fat easily), stick to 6 meals per day.

    For the 1000th time, when following my diet plan (which includes getting your brain into ketosis), there can be NO starchy carbs eaten!

    Cardio:
    CARDIO should be performed at a low intensity (under 120bpm heartrate). This will ensure that you use FAT as a fuelsource since as your heartrate increase, carbohydrates begin to become the preferred fuel of choice for the body. When on a low carb diet, you're body will break down muscle and turn that into carbs. Remember, Fat CANNOT be changed into carbs. Therefore, for bodybuilding, the rule of cardio should be LONG DURATION, LOW INTENSITY

    Forget using:
    -MCT's are a waste when you're dieting. If you're gonna use FATS for an energy source, they might as well serve a function in the body. MCTs are useless. They can only serve as a source of energy!

    Follow DIET #1 for 1 day…then follow DIET #2 for 3 days…….then REPEAT



    DIET #1

    MEAL #1
    12 egg whites

    MEAL #2
    35g Whey protein

    MEAL #3
    6oz chicken with 1-cup asparagus or green beans

    MEAL #4
    6oz white fish (fluke, flounder, sole, ect.) with a green salad with
    vinegar & mustard (no olive or macadamia nut oil)

    MEAL #5
    35g Whey protein or 10 egg whites




    DIET #2

    MEAL #1
    2 whole (OMEGA-3) Eggs with 6 egg whites

    MEAL #2
    35g Whey protein with 1 tablespoon all natural peanut butter

    MEAL #3
    6oz chicken with 1/4-cup (1oz) cashew nuts, or almonds, or walnuts (vary it)

    MEAL #4
    6oz salmon, swordfish, or RED MEAT with a green salad (no tomatoes, red
    peppers, or carrots) with 1 tablespoon of Olive Oil or Mac Nut Oil and
    vinegar

    MEAL #5
    35g Whey with 1 tablespoon all natural peanut butter or 2 whole
    (OMEGA-3) EGGS with 6 whites



    **** You should have a cheat meal once per week (in place of meal #5).
    This is NOT optional. I want you to have it!

    *** KONOSYL FIBER (they sell it in most drug stores) 1-teaspoon 2x per
    day (fiber supplement)—important—fiber helps burn fat and keeps the food
    MOVING through your intestinal tract.
    *** You can use sugar-free soy sauce, mustard, and vinegar for condiments.
    *** You can drink water, sugar-free drinks (diet soda), coffee, or tea
    with equal or splenda


    SUPPLEMENTS:

    JUICE PLUS+ (2 pills of the GARDEN BLEND in morning and 2 pills of the
    ORCHARD BLEND at night).
    (4a) Coral Calcium 1500mg per day (excellent calcium supplement plus
    awesome alkalinizing agent—neutralizes poisonous acid wastes)
    (5) Evening Primrose OIL (1300mg 2x per day)—essential GOOD OMEGA-6 fats
    (6) Omega-3 Fish oil pills (Omega 3 fatty acids) 1000mg 3x per day

    ***(7) LIPOLYZE (1 pill 3x per day with meals---->building up to 5 pills
    per day—1 pill with each meal).

    WORKOUT:

    WEIGHT TRAINING:

    DAY 1: Legs/ Calves/Abdominals

    DAY 2: Shoulders/Abdominals

    DAY 3: Off

    DAY 4: Arms (biceps, triceps, and forearms)/ Abdominals

    DAY 5: Back

    DAY 6: Chest/Calves/Abdominals

    DAY 7: Off/


    CARDIO:
    40 minutes (low intensity) early in the day……. either first thing in the
    morning (on empty stomach) or immediately after training. NEVER right
    before a workout. Make sure the intensity level is low—stay in
    fat-burning zone. DO NOT LET YOUR HEART RATE GO OVER 130 bpm. If you do,
    you will be burning MUSCLE since your glycogen stores will be empty.

              I have tried this, there are a few different versions. The reason for the fish oil is the diet is so high in cholesterol. 6 whole eggs a day?

                  food imo is the most important -- when todd was working with me i only took half the supps he wanted me to take -- i concentrated on the food end of it

                        BIGSCOTT- i have looked over and over at this diet!! i can see how it works, but have not clue how guys aren't loosing muscle??!! Take- Mike Liberatore for example. Last 3-4 weeks out from a show. White fish and veggies all six meals!! every once is a while he got to sprinkle some fat in there. 2 hours of cardio a day. and this guys LBM has to be in the 215 range at least. Allthough he is on 2400 calories a day, and not loosing muscle?? this is what i don't get. Shit i did this kind of thing when i was 176 on stage!!, but 215?? must be alot of supers!! What do you think?? and Bouncer as well!!

                          i think dave relys very heavy on the drugs to hold muscle -- his drug regimen is not for the faint of heart !!

                          i know a super heavy getting ready for a show right now - the amount of size he has lost in the past month scares me - he was walking around at 285 solid lbs and is now just a shell of that

                          i may try it just to pull myself down - then add more calories to stabilize myself there after

                          by the way long time brother !! hope all is well !!

                              would work well for short period -- get yourself to your goal and then add calories to stabilize yourself -

                              if your looking for overall weightloss -- it will get the job done be it on gear or not
