  • Evening diet trouble

i will be the first to say my diet is shaky but i am really struggling to find something to eat at 7pm.im trying to not eat carbs after 5...any ideas?here is what a typical day looks like

    6:30am- 1 cup oatmeal/1 tbsp natty pb
    6:45am- lift
    7:45am- whey protein in water
    9:00am- cardio
9:45am- 1/2 cup oatmeal/ 1 scoop whey protein in water
    11:45am- almonds/nuts/cranberries
    2:00pm- 1.5 cups brown rice/6 oz chicken
    4:30pm- 1 cup brown rice/ steak
6:45pm- protein shake/1 tbsp natty pb
9:00pm- casein protein/1 tbsp natty pb

i dont like the idea of back to back protein shakes so if anyone has an idea for what to plug in at 6:45,it would be great

i am currently 5'9'' 180lbs..i would like to get to 187-191 for the summer so this diet may not contain enough calories

How about a cup of cottage cheese and 0.5 or 1 cup of green veggies? It will fill you up and has minimal carbs.

how bout this for 7 pm chicken breast and green beans with EEVO.
It looks like you need a lot more protein and real food in that diet and fewer shakes if you want to gain muscle IMHO

In addition to needing more whole food added to your diet overall, what about some seared ahi tuna? I make it in a skillet w/ just a tsp of olive oil, & sear it 1/4 inch on each side. Sams has it pretty reasonably priced. I spray some balsamic vinegar on it, and it tastes delish! It's a nice change from the regular steak or chicken. You could put it over a salad for a pretty satisfying & very low carb meal.

around that late....I tend to eat cottage cheese and a chicken breast..... try cooking your chicken breast in extra virgin olive oil, the fats in the oil will slow down your hunger...
