  • Trying to dump some weight..?

So I am trying to drop about 15-20 pounds in about 4 weeks. The reason has to do weight for certain helo operations and the like.

I roll around at 5'9 and 210-215 pounds-38 yrs old--yeah I'm old;). Not fat not shredded...more fire hydrant. Have maintained an active lifestyle and level of physical fitness most of my life. With that said I havent really tried to lose much weight but I could be lighter.

I am dropping my calories to about 2k a day, my cardio is 60 minutes in two thirty minute intervals and I have switched to circuit training as my lifting routine.

Supplements (recommended here btw-thnks all) are Dark Matter, Lipo 6, and Novadex xt-although I am scared shitless to take this after reading the label and that you can pop positive on a test, so it may be a no go. We are randomly tested for aas. Also taking Nitrix as well.

Diet is pretty good, I usually can eat pretty well although I am somewhat at the mercy of whats available. I have dropped my carbs to less than 50 a day, and try to stick to predominantly low fat foods--tuna, lean meats, etc. Lots of salad. I did have an oreo today--okay two.

As this is a new direction I am looking for some suggestions on what the folks in the know here think about this..its new for me but I would like to be around 195 or so in 4 weeks. I thought about maybe soliciting an online trainer or such for awhile as I am switching what I am doing and how I have been doing it for the last few decades.

I appreciate any insight or recommendation any of you may have, it is always educational and helps a shitload.

If you have an active lifestyle etc, i wouldn't drop the carbs down so low. just clean up your diet, take out the junk food etc, you still need carbs if you are active at work.

Redbull? thats a negative there.....110 calories and 28g carbs, which are negative cards......try to drink unsweeten tea, black coffee, or speed stack for energy bro......
Maybe use a carb cycle too, depending on your workout schedule...... The bouncer provided a good carb cycle thread that he posted on this website, just use the search button and type in carb cycle that will provide a general idea for you to follow!!!!

Ah its sugar free Red Bull, but Im gonna try Lipo 6 anyway so will be curtailing that anyhow.

I will check out the carb cycling thread..right now I try and take all my carbs in the morning, but as I said I have been restricting them quite a bit, so I will be looking to change that up.

I disagree with bouncer on this one. Carbs are ok as long as they dont have a high Glycemic Index or Load, and have a high fiber content.

For instance, I love me some broccoli, chicken and almonds about 2 hours before bed.
