  • Proper nutrition and Growth

Let me start out by talking about myself a little.
I've been a big guy my entire life and throughout high school and lifted occasionally (although nothing ever very serious). I'm now 21.

Last September I began working out with the hopes of getting big and trained 4-5 days a week while eating a lot more food and little to no sugar except probably for most fruits.

I did grow, and continue to get strong for the past 10 months, only taking one break.

What I found out quickly is that bodybuilding is all about what you know. I knew practically nothing, and have essentially taught myself how to lift and diet properly from what I've read on some sites, etc.

Recently I have found a love for bodybuilding and continuing to grow and am looking for any advice from anyone experienced about quite a number of topics.

    Some of these include:
    -Proper diet and supplement use
    -Substances and experience

Mostly though I want to talk about supplements and which are worth the effort - especially for someone at my level of experience.

You can post some answers here or questions for myself, and I have AIM, MSN and Google Talk avaiable if anyone can hit me up online.

    Thanks a ton.

As far as supps go, a good quality protein powder, either creatine Ethel ester or Diphoshpate. A high quality vitimin/mineral supp, are essential.

I would post your daily diet in a separate thread and let people critique it, also post your age height weight and estimate of BF%.
