  • Blenders ?

I'm trying to find a good blender for making smoothies, not for my shakes - I can jerk around the shaker cup no prob - I'm talking about whole fruit / berries / nuts / etc - so far the best I've used was a Vitamix5200 - but those things are $450 - there has to be a better alternative. Anybody have experience - I need this thing to do more than chop a few ice cubes.

I actually have one designed to be tough enough for smoothies, etc. It's sitting in the pantry, never been used though. Maybe I should try it out and let you know!

It isn't anything crazy or expensive like you mentioned :wack: I think it's Black & Decker. It came with a separate smoothie or shake cup along with the pitcher, etc. I'll check it out and let you know.

yes. bodybuilders eat all kinds of calories to bulk. smoothies included.

not sure if you think bodybuilders eat chicken and rice in the off season or what but you are dead wrong.

art of war, i have a $60 oster and it blends smoothies, dry oatmeal, etc.. had it 2 years.

                    no need to pay $300.

To grind up Oats i bought a osterizer coffee grinder, you set the amount of oats you want to grind and what u want the grind consistency to be, hit the button and it grinds oats into powder.
