I read an article about him. He ran when he was younger, but stopped in high school because he disliked running in a circle. Then around his 30th birthday, he was out drinking with him friends, and decided to go out for a run. Now he makes a living doing it.Originally posted by decadecadeca View PostHoly shit, the dudes resting heart rate is 39 bpm.
Of course he's also 156 lbs at 5'8"...so......fuck that.

Paleo is big in the Crossfit community.
Not many of the hardcore Crossfit guys could be mistaken for a bodybuilder but they're some damn fit individuals with much more muscle mass than your average gym rat.

I'm not doubting you at all. Its just I have this need for cognition. I want to know why for everything. I was the kid in school that was told "don't touch the paint, it is wet and will come off on" and immediately threw myself against the wall to see if it was true.Originally posted by THE BOUNCER View Postif the look you are going for is healthy/muscular stick to a healthy bodybuilding type diet. trust me.
if you want to be a sort of healthy hippy and just eat fruits and seeds and elk then go for that other diet..

I was curous about the diet. Like I said, still can't find any concrete data for or against it. So I'll stick with what I am doing until late summer. Then maybe play around with it:weights:

Even though some fruits are as low if no lower than some complex carbs on the GI scale?Originally posted by THE BOUNCER View Posti explained earlier in the thread.
people seem to think that everything in the past is better. its just not the case. things like oats, rice, etc.. are extremely beneficial to not only a bodybuilders diet but to general health.
what you are stalking about is replacing all complex carbs with fruit aka simple sugars. its just not a good idea in terms of blood sugar levels and even hormone levels.
