  • Greek Yogurt

Anyone seen this? Supposed to be the new craze...the plain variety tastes just like sour cream, but has 16 proteins in it and richer in taste.

I just bought the vanilla variety (still has 11 sugars in the no fat version :(), but I thought it would be good maybe to mix a little protein powder in it & throw some granola in it pre workout...

Yeah, its nothing new than. We made that at home and ate it on a regular basis as a kid.

            Goes great with anything, lol

Ok- let me rephrase, you pansies...

It's the hot thing being heavily marketed. I got the plain vanilla, and it tastes just like regular plain vanilla yogurt. They had other varieties like pineapple, peach, etc. 6 oz has 120 cals, 0gms of fat, and 16 protiens.

I just had some w/ some organic granola, and it was a pretty good little snack. Not too crazy about the sugars, but it's probably ok for pre workout.

I've got the ochban (or whatever) at costco and liked them. One of the popular brands like dannon or something makes a honey one that taste great.

Yeah, the Ochban is the one I got. And actually, I think the Ochban makes a honey one too...I thought about getting it- but, are the sugars higher?

So, am I correct to assume Greek yogurt would be best paralleled with cottage cheese?
